Julien Mokrani
co-director / producer / editor / VFX supervisor

As he came out of a cinema showing Jurassic Park in 1993, Julien Mokrani knew he wanted to work in the movie industry. Eight years later, Julien created the assocation Gargoyle Films with Fabien Dubois. There ensued a series of self-produced short films, always with one objective : to work on sensation facing emotions. Various experiences followed : as a film editor, a digital compositor and more recently as a photographer. Julien’s interest in comic books is confirmed with his adaptation of Skydoll as a fake commercial-format. This is when he meets Samuel Bodin. The Batman : Ashes to Ashes project is born. In 2008, still with Samuel Bodin, he co-directs and produces Vacuity, a music video for Gojira, shot in RED ; they win the Best Music Video Award at the HD Film Festival. He currently works on writing short and long feature films, always with the same ambition.
